We agree to take part in the St Gemma’s Hospice Accumulator Challenge 2022 and to pay the £30 registration fee. We agree to follow the challenge rules outlined below and to fundraise safely, legally and ethically. At the end of the challenge we agree that all monies raised will be donated to St Gemma’s Hospice.
We understand that, in light of the current situation with COVID-19, this challenge is subject to change depending on government guidance, which St Gemma’s Hospice is monitoring closely.
By registering for this challenge we understand that St Gemma's Hospice will contact us by email about the challenge and raising funds.
We understand that, if our team are later unable to take part, we will not be refunded if the cancellation is within two weeks of the event.
Challenge rules
Raise as much as you can and have fun! Anything goes, but all events and activities must be safe, legal and ethical.
You are not permitted to hold door to door or street collections.
You are not permitted to hold supermarket collections or bag packing events without getting in touch with St Gemma’s Hospice first.
If you are thinking of holding a raffle, please let us know so we can advise you about this; there are strict and complex laws relating to raffles and legal requirements regarding raffle prizes.
If you are going to ask for donations from local businesses, please ask us for a letter of authority, which you can show when approaching organisations.
You can put different departments from your organisation head to head to generate some healthy competition, but each department’s fundraising will go towards your business’ overall total.
Gift Aid and matched funding are very much encouraged and accepted, however will not be counted towards your fundraising total in respect of the challenge.
